Kenny Chesney Concert with Maire Kent Imagine having the opportunity to meet one of your favorite singers backstage before a concert. For many of us that would be a dream come true. For Maire Kent, a sarcoma cancer patient from the University of Michigan, it became a reality. In August 2013 she had the opportunity to meet Kenny Chesney before his Detroit concert in Ford Field. Along with Dr. Monika Leja, a cardio-oncologist at the University of Michigan hospital as well as documentary film producer Keith Famie, Maire their photos were snapped. Kenny was very sincere and kind. He could not have been more humble for a star of his stature. Maire was thrilled and had a wonderful night. With great friends and music, this was just another night at the office for our team. The joy of helping create memories and moments such as this is something that words cannot express.
