JILL JACK – 5.30.13

As women age there are inevitabilities that come with the aging process; changes in their bodies, the onset of menopause, even changes in relationships. Jill Jack, one of Michigan’s most awarded musical talents with 35 Detroit Music awards since 1997, spoke of how her life has changed since she turned 50 and what she’s looking forward to as she continues her journey.

Jill is never one to hold back and had no problem talking very candidly about a variety of subjects such as cancer, plastic surgery, romance and even sex.

When it come to gal pals and life-long friendships, Jill made it very clear just how important those bonds are to her. The tight group of high school friends have shared in all of their experiences together and as she put it, “it’s like you’re with aliens all the time and when we’re together with each other it’s great because now you have people who understand you that speak the same language.”

Her love of the stage where she feels “home” and “connected” with the audience is something that she carries with her in everyday life. She has a peaceful spirit that you can feel the moment you're in her presence.

We anticipate that Jill and her music will be a standout feature in this series.
