Sun Valley Wellness Expo, Sun Valley, ID

The Sun Valley Wellness Expo held in Sun Valley, Idaho each year in May has become one of the most important festivals in the country if you are looking to better understand yourself, both personally and spiritually.

It allows a person, especially someone who is aging, to embark on a personal and spiritual journey.  The four-day gathering of some of the nations most respected holistic practitioners, doctors and spiritual advisors was kicked off by a fire lighting ceremony led by Tracy Ireland. 

It was here many individuals gathered to prepare themselves for the event.  Co-executive producer Tom Rau came along with us and quickly found himself embracing his spiritual side.

The weekend featured prominent speakers, including this year’s keynote speaker Dr. Eben Alexander, author of Proof of Heaven, A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife.

The four-day celebration came to an end as the presenters all had a chance to dance and let down their hair at Friesen, a local gallery.
