DR. ANNE SCHOTT – UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER – 5.20.13
Everyone knows or has known someone that has been afflicted with cancer. But what is it? Dr. Anne Schott at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center took some time out of her busy schedule to discuss cancer and more specifically, breast cancer.
Touching on all aspects of cancer from its origin to diagnosis and treatment Dr. Schott was very clear and concise. Women have a 1 in 8 chance to develop invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetimes so it is important to understand what to look for and when to go seek medical attention. With nearly 3 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today this is something that can hit home with everyone.
Dr. Schott will continue to play an important role as we continue forward in this series and learn more on how women approach their own personal aging process. |
