Dr. Anne F. Schott

Associate Professor, Department of Internal Medicine
Specializing in Hematology/Oncology and Breast Cancer

When you hear the “C” word as a woman or man, you cringe.  When the diagnosis is breast cancer for a woman, it can be devastating in so many ways.  The obvious is the fear of dying and leaving your family.  But as a survivor, you’re burdened with so much angst and painful procedures.

Dr. Schott sits right on the front lines working with women everyday who are facing this terrible diagnosis.  She works in the field with women, not only to try to help them with their personal situations, but also women of the next generation who may be faced with breast cancer issues.

We are honored to have Dr. Schott as part of our film about women and aging.  We are certain this journey with her and her colleagues will be helpful to other women as well as the men in their lives.
