Mortuary Science, Wayne State University Alumni

Recently, the crew of Visionalist Entertainment Productions had the honor of filming the 75th Annual Mortuary Science Open House at Wayne State University, a University that has excelled in the study of Mortuary Science since 1939. The event will be featured in the 13-part documentary series “The Embrace of Dying.”

The open house featured students currently enrolled in the Mortuary Science program, as well as many of the University’s alumni, who are now some of the most well respected Michigan funeral directors, were able to take a tour of the new building of Mortuary Science at Wayne State.

We look forward to filming at Wayne State University with members and alumni of the Mortuary Science department over the course of our production. It is our intention to document the day in the life of a mortuary funeral director student.
