The Mikie Ingram Story Michael Ingram, Sr. lost his son, Sgt. Michael Ingram, Jr. when Mikie was just twenty-three years old serving in Afghanistan. That was in 2010. Now, three years later, Mike, along with his wife Julie and Sgt. Ingram’s biological mom, Trish Kitts, have dedicated their lives to the building of an organization that sends free, pre-paid calling cards to our troops overseas. Today, this 501© (3) non-profit organization called "Mikie’s Minutes", has sent over 300,000 minutes to our troops. Mike’s advice to other parents who have lost a son or daughter: “Do what you can to keep their memory alive. If their life can help benefit others, that’s even better.” |
